"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1:1)
This verse tells us where this world came from and how it came to be. God made it!
Anyone with just a little common sense would be able to accept this fact. Some have said that science disproves the act of creation, but they are being naive. Quite the opposite is true. Science proves that their is a creative genius to the design and creation of this world.
The earth travels a precise route about the sun, and gives us night and day, and four seasons. Nothing but an unseen power keeps it upon its axis, and its orbit.
While the earth travels about the sun in its orbit, the moon travels about the earth in a precise route. It is in a synchronized orbit. As the earth spins, and as the moon spins, and as they both orbit about the sun, and the moon in orbit about the earth as it orbits about the sun, we see only one side of the moon. All of our lives, when we look up, we see the same side of the moon! Only God could do that!
Scientists were able to use mathematics to figure out how to put man into space travel. They were able to do this because nothing changes in those orbits. They have been constant since God created them!
Look around at this creation, and know that it is a creation, created by God.
This world was not an accident, it was an intention. There are a million and one ways to do something that won't work, but there is only one right way. This world was made the right way. And it will continue to do its thing until God says otherwise!
So, this day, take a moment to enjoy this creation, and praise Him who created it!
